Digitrace, Inc., the cable industry’s leading provider of mobile calibration and repair of electronic test equipment has acquired CTV, Inc. as of January 1st, 2006. We have enjoyed a close business relationship With CTV and Greg Shafer over many years and this merger will allow us to expand our primary service area from the Midwest to the East Coast. This merger will also allow us to provide enhanced services that were not formerly available in the Atlantic region. Digitrace has an excellent reputation and has been servicing cable equipment throughout the Midwest for the past 22 years. They are a long term member of the Flint Area Chamber of Commerce and the Society of Cable and Telecommunications Engineers.
Paul Hales, President of Digitrace, Inc. is currently the Secretary of the Great Lakes Chapter, SCTE, having held that position for the many years. We are both looking forward to expanding the services currently being offered in the Midwest states to the Atlantic coast states. Digitrace recently introduced an efficient and comprehensive method of completing FCC required “Proof of Performance” testing that provides significant savings in time and manpower normally associated with this bi-annual requirement.
Digitrace is a major contractor for Comcast and Time Warner throughout the lower 48 states and has serviced over 50,000 pieces of test equipment since the development of the mobile calibration and repair component of their on going test equipment service business. I’m sure it will take a brief period for this merger to solidify and work out the bugs, but we are committed and will bend over backwards to offer you the best service available. Please feel free to contact Greg Shafer or Paul Hales if you would like to discuss the impact this change may have on our business relationship.
As always, we appreciate the opportunity to provide high quality service and repair of your test equipment and look forward to offering additional services in the Atlantic region. |
